I don't know if it was because of the hour last night or if my glasses truly need replacing [read: they do] but it wasn't until the 3rd time I saw this picture that I actually saw the hat part. To my relaxed eyes it sort of blended into the base of the lamp and all I saw were the feathers.

"Maybe they clip to her head?" I says to myself, even.

she did, sorta. Made it prettier anyway. It was a tragic case of ugly before she spruced it up.
